For the past 10 years Project Simply (https://projectsimply.com) has worked alongside some of the leading cultural venues and events, creating amazing brands and digital experiences. We are a leader in our field and work with brands such as Parklife and Second Home. We’re a small agency on a growth drive looking to help support the industries we love and take on projects we can be really proud of.
We have our own festival and event web product, called Plot. It’s a web system that allows for the swift production of gorgeous branded festival and event websites. It provides tools for our design team to create fully branded sites quickly and efficiently. It also provides a modern, progressive user interface for customers to manage their event website and ticketing. We’re looking for someone to help develop version 2 of our system, working with a team designing and creating exciting, progressive user interfaces to output wonderful websites for our clients.

You will be tasked with helping deliver version 2 of our system Plot. From there, we’ll be carrying out continual improvements to the system, building integrations and new features on a release schedule. We sit in the cultural space and event niche, so we expect dedication and love for the sector, and a creative mind to come up with new ideas, amazing development and an ability to communicate and present these to clients and internal team members.
We’re building in WordPress Gutenberg, aka the Block Editor, and also building a lot of custom React components, so day to day will be a lot of progressive front end work with the latest versions of WordPress underneath. You’ll work closely with the creative teams and the head of design, helping them to bring their ideas to life with beautiful code, animations and movement. You’ll also be:
