Printworks London wanted a cool, objective led website that let users buy tickets with ease across all devices. Their marketing team now do all updates without any third party support.

The Printworks London is a groundbreaking venue in London totally a whopping 120,000 sq ft. It hosts some of the country’s biggest and best indoor live and electronic music festivals and events. The Printworks London has a wonderfully iconic brand that needed to be brought to life digitally with a website that looked amazing on all devices and allowed users to find and buy tickets with ease.

It’s been an absolute joy to work alongside Project Simply again. Their ability to understand, interpret and produce was vital to the success of this technical, user experience oriented website.

We used our modular design system to tailor a new and improved user experience. The website needed to showcase  this amazing venue and brand, one of our main objectives was to create something that allowed users to quickly and easily view listings, and buy tickets across all devices.

Working alongside the venue directors and marketing teams, we hosted UX workshops to determine overall and granular user objectives, and we recommended the optimal content hierarchies and site wireframes. We worked with a suite of brand assets, providing creative direction on initial ideas and themes.

Particular attention was paid to the core user flows of search and purchase – so we built intuitive homepage, listings and event pages that made finding and buying tickets a seamless experience.

We are always impressed with the way they work and the technology that underpins the Printworks London website is absolutely brilliant.

We developed the Printworks site using Plot –  a web framework that we built in house to create event and venue websites that are easy to edit and manage. This made the development and deployment process really quick and easy. It also meant the team at Printworks are now able to manage and update major parts of the website, hide and launch content, as well as create their own landing pages on the fly, with ease.

As with the festival sites they have delivered, the CMS allows us to administer and update the site with speed and simplicity – we look forward to partnering with them on many future projects.

On the back of this successful collaboration we are working alongside Broadwick Venues on a number of their upcoming venue launches. Watch this space 🙂
