The Issue

Street Food Circus had built a decade-long reputation for extraordinary nomadic events — but their website told none of that story.

The site fell short on mobile — the primary device for festival-goers researching and buying tickets. The team wanted to bring more of the fund of the event in the site to reflect the colour, spectacle and warmth of an in-person SFC experience. Events vanished from the site post-season, creating a dead browsing experience and missing a key newsletter sign-up opportunity. Layouts were inflexible, and adapting to business needs required developer involvement every time.

A new navigation and site structure designed around distinct user types — first-timers, returning fans, traders, performers, and families — guiding each to the right action.

Each event — Forest Feastival, Big Banquet, Summer Feastival, Fantastic Fete, Harbour Feastival — gets its own branded experience within the main site.

A bespoke WordPress build that empowers the SFC team to update content across the whole site — quickly, confidently, without needing a developer.

Showcasing the magic of SFC. Brand assets, scroll animations, hover states, video heroes and page transitions used to translate the real-world spectacle into a genuinely immersive digital experience.
