Bringing the art online

Our brief was to bring the immersive and abstract nature of the experience of being in the Dreamachine onto their website. We used fluid mouse hovers to bring through the idea of creating your own art experience when moving around the main image on the site. We also build a 3D world housing all user generated content that was pulled through automatically to the live site straight after a participant had drawn their experience at the venue.

Futureproofing the expereince

As the Dreamachine tour was only for a limited amount of time the website needed to perform an additional role as an archive of all the user generated images and editorial content created for the Dreamachine. Additionally,  the team will keep presenting scientific research and experimentation related to the experience of being in the Dreamachine.
